Ask: Research and Methods is an open access, peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to the methodology of social science research. The third ESA Mid-term conference in Cracow aimed at an overview of the potentials of quantitative research as well as a critical assessment of its technical, epistemological, and ethical boundaries. It was dedicated to discuss the spread of new technologies and it’s positive and negative consequences for quantitative studies. Another challenge is to think more profoundly about the technical, ethical, and epistemological limits of quantitative methodological approach
